Ο πολύ γνωστός τραγουδιστής εξομολογήθηκε σε συνέντευξή του ότι κοιμάται ολόγυμνος. Ποιος το είπε; «Τίποτα. Ποτέ δεν μπορούσα να φορέσω ούτε εσώρουχο. Έχω θέμα με αυτό», αποκάλυψε ο Θεοχάρης Ιωαννίδης. Όσο για το αν προτιμάει να κοιμάται μόνος του είπε σε εβδομαδιαίο περιοδικό: «»Ανάλογα. Όταν κοιμάμαι, πέφτω σε τέτοια "χειμέρια νάρκη" που δεν με ενδιαφέρει τίποτα. Μπορεί να αποκοιμηθώ πολύ καλά και να ξυπνήσω εξίσου όμορφα στην ίδια θέση του καναπέ ή μέσα σε ένα σινεμά, μόνος μου ή με παρέα. Μου έχουν τύχει και τα δυο».

Είναι ένας πολύ αγαπητός τραγουδιστής, ο οποίος θέλει να δίνει το καλό παράδειγμα. Όλοι μιλάνε με τα καλύτερα λόγια για εκείνον, αφού παρά την επιτυχία παραμένει χαμηλών τόνων. Σε πρόσφατη συνέντευξή του στο περιοδικό «Glam», δήλωσε ότι θα ήθελε να κάνει και άλλο παιδί, αλλά όταν ήρθε το ΔΝΤ και η Τρόικα είπε: «Τέρμα τα παιδιά». Ο λόγος για τον Γιάννη Πλούταρχο, ο οποίος αγαπάει τα παιδιά και το έχει δείξει, αφού έχει ήδη πέντε.
